TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Fuquay Transportation grants you access to download our App on your personal devices and to use it for the sole purpose of requesting transportation services.
Sedans (4 passengers):
5:01 a.m. - 9:59 p.m. - $2.00 a mile, 20 cents per 1/10 mile thereafter
10:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m. - $3.00 a mile, 30 cents per 1/10 mile thereafter
For Ford Flex (6 passengers):
5:01 a.m. - 9:59 p.m. - $2.50 a mile, 25 cents per 1/10 mile thereafter
10:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m. - $3.50 a mile, 35 cents per 1/10 mile thereafter
Hourly Chauffeured Vehicles:
20% Gratuity is Added to All “Hourly Commissioned Vehicle(s).
TIPS: Are appreciated but not expected.
Extra Mile to Pick-up/Drop-off Rate: For each mile over 10 miles that it takes one of our drivers to reach a passenger's pick up address, an additional .75 per mile will be added to the fare price.
RDU Airport Transportation: Standard $2 per mile applies at all times plus a $3 RDU airport fee. Discounts are calculated before applying the $3 RDU fee. Arrangement can be made for a pick up to or from the airport in advance or last minute.
Wait time: .30 per minute
(1) the driver is requested to wait outside an establishment for a return ride
(2) the driver has arrived at the pickup and has been waiting more than 5 minutes for the passenger to enter the vehicle
Cancellation Fee: You have the right to cancel a ride at any time. However, cancelled rides will incur a cancellation fee of $5.
Discounts and/or Promo Codes:
10% Discount for All Military, Veterans, Seniors (60+), and Public Service Employees. You must be the passenger in the vehicle at the time of the ride in order to receive this discount. Discounts will be applied on the current ride and will not be saved for a future ride nor can discounts accumulate. A current Valid ID may be required. Discounts cannot be combined. At any time Fuquay Transportation has the right to deny this discount if warranted.
We accept cash, credit, or debit and payment must be received at the time of the ride. Quoted fares at the time of booking are subject to change due to route changes, stops, surcharges, tolls, airport fees, and any other applicable fees. Fuquay Transportation Apps are set up using a credit card and this is the default payment. However, cash will be accepted and is paid directly to the driver at the time of the ride. A receipt will be emailed to through our App. Fares are non-refundable.
No Open Containers
Repair or Cleaning Fees:
You are responsible for the repair and/or cleaning fees in the event such damage is caused by you during a ride. The cleaning fee applies if the inside of the vehicle(s) become stained, marked, or damaged in any way. We reserve the right to charge your payment method used on your online account. These costs are non-refundable.
Riding Age Requirements:
Fuquay Transportation will NOT transport anyone under 18 without being accompanied by an adult. Proof of Age may be requested by dispatch and/or drivers. Denial of a ride may occur at any time if there is any question of a passenger’s age.
Online Account Age Requirements:
You must also be at least 18 to set up an online account with Fuquay Transportation. One account per person is acceptable. Accounts cannot be set up by someone over 18 for the intent of someone who is under 18. You are required to supply personal information such as name, address, phone number, and credit card information. All information must be kept up-to-date. Failure to have current information and credit card payment will result in failure to provide services. You are the responsible for maintaining login/password information and should not give this information to anyone else. Accounts cannot be transferred to someone else.
You agree to allow Fuquay Transportation to contact via text messaging, phone calls, or email when rides are requested.
Third Party Services:
Fuquay Transportation does not provide third party services your information. We cannot control use of third party advertising and will not be responsible in the event this occurs. Additionally, Apple Inc., Google, Inc., Microsoft Corporation or BlackBerry Limited will be a third-party beneficiary to this contract if you access the Services using Applications developed for Apple iOS, Android, Microsoft Windows, or Blackberry-powered mobile devices, respectively. These third party beneficiaries are not parties to this contract and are not responsible for the provision or support of the Services in any manner. Your access to the Services using these devices is subject to terms set forth in the applicable third party beneficiary's terms of service.
Drivers will rate and review passengers at the end of each ride. Information regarding the passenger and/or ride will be saved in our App and is for our use only. Fuquay Transportation has the right to refuse a passenger future rides and close accounts based on driver ratings and comments.
Passengers will rate and review drivers at the end of each ride. This is information is for Fuquay Transportation only and for the sole purpose of maintaining excellent customer satisfaction. You grant us permission to copy your reviews to be posted on our website, Facebook, or Twitter Account or for publication in advertisements. Only first names will be published with the reviews. You agree to not use profanity, content that is defamatory, hateful, violent, obscene, pornographic, unlawful, or otherwise offensive.
Network Access and Devices:
You are responsible for obtaining the data network access necessary to use Fuquay Transportation App. Your mobile network's data and messaging rates and fees may apply if you access or use the Services from your device. You are responsible for acquiring and updating compatible hardware or devices necessary to access and use the Services and Applications and any updates thereto. Fuquay Transportation does not guarantee that the Services, or any portion thereof, will function on any particular hardware or devices. In addition, the Services may be subject to malfunctions and delays inherent in the use of the Internet and electronic communications.
Fuquay Transportation does not guarantee service at the time of a call. Rides are pending availability of vehicles and/or drivers. Although we strive for punctuality, due to unforeseen circumstances such as traffic, or previous ride delays, we do not guarantee the timely arrival as requested. We will not deny services based on race, religion, or ability. However, Fuquay Transportation does reserve the right to refuse transportation services if we feel illegal activity has taken place while in use of our services.
Fuquay Transportation is not responsible for or liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings while using our services.
You agree to indemnify and hold Fuquay Transportation and its affiliates and their officers, directors, employees, and agents harmless from any and all claims, demands, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees), arising out of or in connection with: (i) your use of the Services or services or goods obtained through your use of the Services; (ii) your breach or violation of any of these Terms; (iii) Fuquay Transportation's use of your User Content; or (iv) your violation of the rights of any third party, including Third Party Providers.
4 / 8 • Mobile Analytics. We use mobile analytics software to allow us to better understand the functionality of our mobile software on your phone. This software may record information, such as how often you use the application, the events that occur within the application, aggregated usage, performance data and where the application was downloaded from. We do not link the information we store within the analytics software to any Personally-Identifying Information you submit within the mobile application.
SOCIAL MEDIA We may use hyperlinks on the Website which will redirect you to a social network if you click on the respective link. However, when you click on a social plug-in, such as Facebook’s “Like” button, Twitter’s “tweet” button or the Google+, that particular social network’s plugin will be activated and your browser will directly connect to that provider’s servers. If you do not use these buttons, none of your data will be sent to the respective social network’s plugin provider. So, for example, when you click on the Facebook’s “Like” button on the Website, Facebook will receive your IP address, the browser version and screen resolution, and the operating system of the device you have used to access the Website. Settings regarding privacy protection can be found on the websites of these social networks and are not within our control. COLLECTION, USE AND DISCLOSURE OF PERSONALLY-IDENTIFYING INFORMATION Website Registration As defined above, Personally-Identifying Information is information that can be directly associated with a specific person. Company may collect a range of Personally-Identifying Information from and about Website users. Much of the Personally-Identifying Information collected by Company about users is information provided by users themselves when (1) registering for our service, (2) logging in with social network credentials, (3) participating in polls, contests, surveys or other features of our service, or responding to offers or advertisements, (4) communicating with us, (5) creating a public profile or (6) signing up to receive newsletters. That information may include each user’s name, address, email address and telephone number, and, if you transact business with us, financial information such as your payment method (valid credit card number, type, expiration date or other financial information). We also may request information about your interests and activities, your gender, age, date of birth, username, hometown and other demographic or relevant information as determined by Company from time to time. Users of the Website are under no obligation to provide Company with Personally-Identifying Information of any kind, with the caveat that a user’s refusal to do so may prevent the user from using certain Website features.
8 / 8 California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the “Shine The Light” law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about the Personally-Identifying Information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year. If applicable, this information would include a list of the categories of the Personally-Identifying Information that was shared and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared Personally-Identifying Information in the immediately preceding calendar year. If you are a California resident and would like to make such a request, please submit your request in writing to our privacy officer as listed below. DO-NOT-TRACK POLICY Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. Because there is not yet a common understanding of how to interpret the DNT signal, the Website currently does not respond to DNT browser signals or mechanisms.
